Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez believes defender Ronald Araujo can feature at the World Cup with Uruguay despite still recovering from injury.
The 23-year-old suffered a hamstring injury on international duty in late September and required surgery. He will reportedly be out of action for around two months. Which would mean the World Cup will begin while he recovers.

“We spoke to Araujo about his ability to travel, we spoke to (Uruguay’s coach) Diego Alonso and it might be good for him to go with the team hoping to recover by the end of the season. As soon as possible.” Xavi said.
